Practical

Food

Most of the food will be vegan, with some eggs, milk and meat or fish as supplements. We will serve three meals a day and some snacks, tea and coffee. If you need something more than that, you need to bring it yourself. It is often wise to have some high energy snacks and a refillable water bottle available.

If you have food allergies of any kind, please inform us about this in the second sign-up form.

Location

The game will be played outside Västerås, Sweden at a campsite for youths called Rävnäs Lägergård. Rävnäs' website (In Swedish)

You need to bring bedlinen, but there are pillows and duvets on every bed. Sleeping bags are not allowed.

How to get there

The workshops start at 14.00 the first day. You ought to arrive well in advance. Here are some different ways to get there.

By car:

By public transportation:

We will need to pick you up as there are no buses that go all the way to Rävnäs. First get yourself to Västerås - there are plenty of trains and buses to Västerås. From Västerås, you continue to Surahammar with local train. Mail us your time of arrival, we will pick you up in Surahammar.

The time table for the local train to Surahammar can be found at http://tidtabell.resplus.se/tidtabell/55_tag55.pdf

We are looking into the possibilities of organizing a bus from Västerås. More information will follow.

By air:

Go to Arlanda UNLESS you come from London, as Ryanair flies directly to Västerås from Stansted. From Arlanda, you will have to take a train or a bus to Uppsala or Bålsta, and take the train from there to Västerås. If you fly Ryanair to Västerås, you will have to take a local bus to get into the train station in Västerås.
